Shooting in Powellhurst-Gilbert Neighborhood

Portland Police Bureau East Precinct officers responded to multiple reports of gunfire in the 112000 block of Southeast Holgate Boulevard.
As officers were responding to the shooting a victim called police and reported that a bullet came through her bedroom. She and her two-week-old baby were sleeping in the bedroom. Neither the mother nor the baby were injured in the shooting.
There is no suspect information at this time. No known gang involvment is suspected in the shooting.
