Portland High School Shooting: Third Suspect Arrested

Salem-area officers arrested Marquise D'Angelo Murphy, 16, in Keizer, Tuesday night after a car chase with police, according authorities. Officers from the Portland Police Bureau took custody of Murphy and eventually lodged him into a juvenile detention home in Portland, according to authorities.
The arrests came days after Portland Gang Unit officers first arrested his older brother, 22-year-old Lonzo Murphy, during the early morning ours of Dec. 13. Officers found a handgun during a traffic stop at North Interstate Avenue and Going Street at approximately 1:30 a.m. Lonzo Murphy was booked into Multnomah County Jail for a parole violation.
Additional charges in the case are still pending, police said.

As part of an investigation into the man's arrest, a SERT team carried out a search warrant at 2 a.m. on an apartment five blocks away from the scene of the shooting.
Dec. 12, shortly after 12:10 p.m. four students were wounded after a shooter opened fire outside Rosemary Anderson High School, on North Killingsworth Ct., and then fled on foot.
The four victims were a 16-year-old female, a 17 and a 20-year-old male who were both shot, and a 19-year-old female who was grazed in the foot. All the victims were either students or affiliated with the school, police said.
Another victim, 17-year-old Labraye Franklin, was released from the hospital on Saturday. David Jackson-Liday, 20, remains in fair condition, according to police.
