The 2016 International Cat Show is This Weekend

Thursday, January 28, 2016

Take a look at plenty of cute kittens and furry felines at the International Cat Show, coming this weekend to the Holiday Inn in Portland.

The International Cat Show—Portland is the largest cat show in the region, featuring dozens of vendors and hundreds of cats from all over the world, along with prestigious judges who fly in each year for the event. Organizers are expecting thousands to visit the show to see rare breeds and old favorites alike.

The International Cat Show will also try to make an impact for the cat owners of Oregon, by collecting thousands of pounds of food for the Oregon Food Bank. As part of the Cat Show food drive, any guest who brings two cans of food will save $2 on admission to the cat show.

The first 250 guests at each day of the show will receive a 20-lb box of Dr. Elsey’s Precious Cat kitty litter. Spectators will also receive Pet Pro’s gift bags, valued at more than $25.

The International Cat Show—Portland kicks off on Friday, January 29  at 3 PM at the Holiday Inn, located at 8939 NE Columbia Boulevard. The show will also be open on Saturday, January 30 and Sunday, January 31, from 3 PM to 9 PM.

Admission is $8, and children under 12 can enter free of charge. For more information, or to get your tickets, visit the International Cat Show website.
