Alabaster is my shelter name, not sure why since I am neither translucent or white so feel free to change it. I am however a very charming young man around 6 years old looking to find a home for the holidays. The shelter staff is monitoring me for an urinary infection and doing further diagnostics. Hi, this is Holly. She is a 2-3-year-old female Chihuahua. She loves attention from her foster family and is curious about the cats and other dogs. She would do well with another small respectful dog, with proper introduction. She would love to have a new family that would let her sit on their laps and follow them around the house. She wants to learn to walk on a leash but isn't quite sure what that is about. She sits and looks out the window and wants to go outside but once she goes out it seems a little scary. So, giving her possitive exposure to the outside and to a harness and leash would be wonderful. She is crate trained and does sleep there at night but would probably enjoy sleeping in your bed if that is something you would enjoy. Because she is nervous about the outdoors, she uses potty pads inside. She does have Luxating Petellas in both back knees which tends to be a common thing in Chihuahuas. They don't seem to be bothering her now but this may be something that will require maintenance as she gets older - if you have questions about this please talk to the adoption counselor or your personal vet . Holly has decided that turkey is her favorite treat but she also loves scrambled eggs and cheese. She is a very sweet girl and is looking for the perfect family to smother her with love. The shelter is recommending children in the house are 8 years old or older because Holly is still a little shy. So they call me Bells here at the shelter. I came in with my brother Mistle, and we are both very mellow, laid back and super friendly kids that would love to get into our new home before the holiday season gets real crazy. At about three months old there's still a lot of kitten magic left in us and you don't want to miss a minute of it! We would love to go home together, but if not we must go to a home that has another social pet we can play and interact with. I'm spayed and ready to go home today!

My name is Ox and I'm looking for a new family. I am cute as a button and strong as a bull. I love people and will need an active lifestyle that can keep up with my high energy. I've already been to Vegas, how about you? In my free time I love to travel and hang out with my buds. I have lived with another same size female dog and we adored each other. Cats on the other hand..not my thing. I will need a feline free home. The shelter is HIGHLY recommending reward based classes for me as I haven't really learned the concept that jumping all over is not a cool thing. I am very eager to learn though, so this should be fun. Children in the home should be over the age of 12 years old due to this. I can knock the little guys over easily because I haven't learned my strength or manners yet. I hope my cuteness will win you over though. I will be a great dog with some patient guidance. I am about 1-year-old and weigh 62 pounds.

Samira was found by a nice family and got along well with the cat and teenager in the home, but was rather shy with others. She has been very scared and defensive here and we believe she will do much better in a home with a cat companion. She will need some time and patience in her new home to come out of her shell. A quiet home is highly recommended. The shelter is happy to provide you with the tools to acclimate Samira to your home, plus she is already spayed, up-to-date on shots, and micro chipped. The shelter sees my potential and I have a loving nature and some basic obedience. What I need some help with is learning to accept people doing simple things like putting on a harness or wiping off my feet. But with some patience and a reward based approach to helping me understand what you want, I will be your loyal friend. The shelter recommends a home with kids over the age of 10 years because I would be too much for smaller kids. Also I'm a little too interested in cats, so no cats in my new home. A respectful dog may be ok, but I prefer to have all the attention myself. I am just over 4 years of age. Ask about ME today!
