February's Civic Drinks, a social gathering of City Club members and like-minded people,  was a big "thank you" to Sam Adams for his leadership as Executive Director of City Club over the last two years. It also served as Adams public "going away" party from Portland.

Adams, who leaves for Washington D.C. to direct Climate Change Initiatives at World Resources Institute in just a few days, was presented at the packed party with a cape and giant "P" emblem for all his "super"-ior work he has done in Portland as the director of City Club.
