Oregon State Police Arrest 3 for Kidnapping & Other Charges

The victim was related by marriage to Raley and lived with the three suspects.
The Investigation
The investigation started when the victim arrived at the State Hospital in Salem, with severe injuries. She was immediately transported to Salem Hospital where she was admitted in critical condition.
The victim disclosed to detectives from the Oregon State Police Salem Area Command that she had been bound, beaten, forced fed and sexually assaulted while in the care of Raley, Shanholtzer and Martin.
An investigation led to the following arrests and charges:
Florence Marie Raley was lodged at Klamath County Jail on the following charges:
* Kidnapping 1
* Assault 2
* Unlawful Sexual Penetration 1
* Criminal Mistreatment 1
* Tampering with a Witness
* Conspiracy to commit Assault 2
* Conspiracy to commit Kidnapping 1
* Coercion
Melissa Ann Shanholtzer was lodged at the Klamath County Jail on the following charges:
* Kidnapping 1
* Assault 2
* Criminal Mistreatment 1
* Conspiracy to commit Kidnapping 1
* Conspiracy to commit Criminal Mistreatment 1
John Sterling Martin was lodged at the Klamath County Jail on the following charges:
* Assault 2
* Assault 3
* Assault 4
* Conspiracy to commit Assault 2
* Kidnapping 1
* Conspiracy to commit Kidnapping 1
The investigation is ongoing. More information will be released when it becomes available.
