Portland Police Seek Public’s Help Finding Victims of Sex Offender

Wehage was booked in Multnomah County Jail on Wednesday, after being extradited from Tennessee for multiple felony sex crimes, according to Portland Police.
Police said that detectives began an investigation in August 2014, after learning that Wehage sexually abused a young teen boy who babysat for the Wehage family in Southwest Portland.
Wehage attended a Southwest Portland area church and may have had access to additional victims who were used as babysitters for the Wehage family, according to Portland Police.
Wehage was charged with 11 felony acts including several counts of sodomy in the first and second degree.
