Voters Re-Elect Earl Blumenauer to U.S. House of Representatives

U.S. Representative Earl Blumenauer, (D)

Voters re-elected incumbent democrat Earl Blumenauer to the U.S. House of Representatives, according to the Secretary of State.

Blumenauer defeated his Republican challenger, Portland attorney James Buchal, with 72 percent of voter approval compared to 20 percent supporting Buchal.

Blumenauer, who is a proponent of marijuana legalization, environmental issues and civil rights, will continue representing Oregon’s 3rd congressional district.
