This year, Oregon Ballet Theatre kicked off a month celebrating the company premiere of Ben Stevenson's "Cinderella" - running February 28 through March 7 at the Keller Auditorium - with an opulent "Cinderella Ball" at the Eastside Exchange Building in Northeast Portland.

Guests were treated to a special live performance of "Hey Eugene", from Nicolo Fonte's collaboration with Pink Martini "Never Stop Falling (In Love)", paired with a video from Patrick Weishampel featuring China Forbes and dancers Brian Simcoe, Jordan Kindell, and Michael Linsmeier.

Live auction packages were "described" in impromptu performances by dancers of the company, and Cinderella's "Ugly Stepsisters" appeared to mingle, and to offer special thanks to Honorary Co-Chairs Jimmy Crumpacker and Jordan Schnitzer.

Members of Metropolitan Youth Symphony played throughout dinner.

There was romance in the air, and dancing in the Sincerely Truman room until the stroke of midnight.

Fortunately, no carriages turned into pumpkins, and the magic carried on into the night.
