video: City of Portland Shrouded in Fog in “Inversion Immersion”
Wednesday, February 04, 2015
Filmmaker Andrew Studer has captured an incredibly dramatic film of Portland during a recent foggy night.
According to his comment on Vimeo, Studer was in Portland to photograph a sunset. "Little did I know that once the sun would go down, an inversion would take place and waves of thick fog would come in and cover the city,"said Studer.
Shot entirely in one day, "Inversion Immersion" takes a look at what Portland looked like when this relatively rare event took place, through the art of timelapse.
