Breezy

Breed: Domestic Shorthair/ Mix
Gender: Male

My name is Breezy. Ya, I'm named that because I can cause quite a breeze as I zoom by. I am about 5 months old. When I was about 3 months my siblings and I were brought in from the cold. It has taken me a little bit of time to realize what a great deal it is to be warm and cozy. I like the idea now. I get the run of the house and I get to play with other cats. I am still just a little shy about people but I will definitely come to you if you have my favorite thing in the whole world...FOOD! I'll even get up in your lap to eat it. Then you can hold me and I will purr for you. I would really appreciate it if you would take your time with me when I go home with you. New places and people are pretty scary for me. No small children please because it's so difficult for me to predict what they are going to do so I would do a lot of hiding. Don't be afraid to ask my foster mom what might work best for me. She has a few tricks that would make my move to your home so much easier. It is important that I am an indoor only kitty. If you think that I am the right guy for you call my foster mom at 503-388-8097. I will try to put my best paw forward for you.

Poncho

Breed: Spaniel / Mix
Gender: Male
Age: Adult

Poncho is a sweet and very shy guy looking for a new lease on life. He spent the last 3 years of his life as an outdoor only dog. He would like to move inside and become part of someones family! He has lived with kids before, and he may do fine with new kids but we advise a slow introduction with children that are over the age of 10 years, and allow him to get used to his new surroundings. Obedience classes are always a good idea with a new dog, especially one who needs help with confidence building like Poncho! Please ask to meet him today! He is about 4 years old and weighs 44lbs.

Whiff

Breed: Domestic Shorthair/ Mix
Gender: Male

Hi ya all. My name is Whiff and I am quite the cute grey and white kitten. I'm right around 5 months old. When my siblings and I were brought in from the cold we were about 3 months old. That means that we took a little bit longer to warm up to people. I am seeing that it is pretty cool to be warm and get at least 3 meals a day, and have a roof over my head. I am out and about playing, sleeping, eating with the other cats in my foster home. I don't know if I would ever be a lap cat but I will let you sit next to me and pet me. I sure do like the other cats so it would be great to have another cat in the household. I have no idea what a dog is but I suppose if it is a nice critter I would get used to it. I'm not so sure about little children. I think that they would be overwhelming for me. I do ask that when you take me home that you are patient with me. It is going to be a little scary for me, and new place, people and all. I know that my foster mom will be more than willing to share some tricks for making it easier for me to get used to my new home. It is important that I be an indoor only kitty. If you would like to meet me call my foster mom at 503-388-8097. I know that she will tell you how wonderful I am.

Abrams

Breed: Labrador Retriever/ Mix
Gender: Male

Hi my name is Abrams, so pleased to meet you! I am an older gent around 10 years old looking for a family ready to take good care of me. The shelter has started the process, but a good diet, low key walks, and periodic vet care will work wonders for me. I have arthritis in my right knee and resolving skin and ear infections. I came from a household of other dogs, but since here I have been impatient with the barking dogs. I may do best in a one pet household. I weigh about 67 lbs. Please ask about me today.

Sasha

Breed: Bengal/ Mix
Gender: Female

Sasha is currently in foster care. If you are interested in Sasha please contact her foster mom at [email protected] or 503/890/2894 to set up a time to meet her. Sasha is a 4 year old, gorgeous, sweet, SMART, blind Bengal. Because she is blind she needs to be the only pet in the home, and should go to a quiet home without kids, or with older, respectful kids (12 and up). Because she is blind she does a lot of listening and exploring. She comes when you call her, talks and follows the sound of your voice. She enjoys sleeping on the bed and also climbs her way on top of other things - she should always be supervised in areas where she can do so. She is very good at sliding her way down things and figuring out what is safe for her. She can navigate stairs with ease. She needs stability, familiarity, and a routine that she can stick to. She would prefer a home where her people are home most of the time smile If Sasha sounds like the right cat for you, please call about her today!

Rudy

Breed: Terrier / Chihuahua
Gender: Male

My name is Rudy and I am currently in foster care. If you are interested in me, please contact our Foster Coordinator at [email protected] to set up a time to meet me! I am house-trained and leash trained and crate trained and good with other dogs and cats. I'm not you're average little dog, I consider myself a dogs' dog. I'm a very quiet, polite and an easy keeper.
I am uber confident with all types of animals. People still make me nervous and I am slow to warm up, but am getting better every day- gaining trust and bonding. I adore my pitbull foster sister and brother and I share my food and couch with the cats. I do well on leash and really love my walks. I even do hikes like a pro. I am potty trained and ride well in the car. I would do well in a home with gentle kids over the age of 6. Being adopted to a home with confident dogs will help me gain confidence and come out of my shell faster. Ask about me today!

Uno

Breed: Domestic Shorthair/ Mix
Gender: Male
Age: Adult

My name is Uno and I'm looking for a new home. I am a very nice, relaxed guy who loves attention. I could make a very nice lap warmer this winter. Unfortunately, I have tested positive for FIV, which is very manageable. My new family will need to keep me as an INDOOR ONLY kitty for the rest of my life, feed me a high quality diet, and take me to regular vet visits. I am totally worth it though and will make the best companion. I am about 4 years old and weigh 9.5 pounds. Please come and meet me today!

Andre

Breed: Newfoundland/ Mix
Gender: Male
Age: Young

Hello my shelter name is Andre please stop and take a closer look. I am a big goofball that needs to make up some lost time with more social interaction and maybe a private trainer. Yeah that’s right I am not comfortable yet on a leash, something puppies learn when they are weeks old and here I am learning at around a year old. So you see I need a patient family willing to take the extra steps to help me catch up. I need everything to be super fun and friendly because new situations scare me. Are you ready to help this 65 lbs and counting baby grow up? Ask about me today.
