Portland Threads: Halloween
Sunday, November 02, 2014
Some Portlanders got into the Halloween spirit a little early while others dressed for the weather, on the spookiest holiday of the year.
A woman wearing a ModCloth polka dot dress, her friend’s Minnie Mouse ear headband, and eyeliner whiskers walked down the wet leaf-covered streets.
Another woman with pink dyed hair, centered her outfit around the color purple, wearing a purple hat and handmade furry purple scarf.
An all black ensemble, hand me down gold jewelry, and a pair of vintage sunglasses, worn by a young woman, looked like something the vampire gang cast of the 1980’s movie The Lost Boys would wear.
Finally, perfectly layered looks were achieved by wearing fitted jackets and blazers with printed beige and burgundy Italian scarves.
