Portland Threads: Portland Fashion and Style Awards
Saturday, November 15, 2014
Portlanders are not the type of people to dress in Valentino gowns or Brioni Vanquish suits, instead we take a casual and comfortable approach towards dressing for so called "red carpet" events.
This year's Portland Fashion and Style Awards at the Portland Art Museum (see the recap here) brought the Portland fashion community together to celebrate the talent our city has to offer. Attendees combined vintage, locally designed gowns and high fashion pieces to create looks that reflected the Portland fashion spirit.
Model Terra Setzler wore a beautiful Notre Dame masquarade ball inspired gown by Portland designer Danielle Grasseth.
Another attendee makes a loud entrance wearing a bright red suit jacket with black lapels and a red and black polka dot bow tie.
Braided hair and a dark fall red lip, were combined with a vintage tribal print cardigan jacket and black distressed leather Jeffrey Campbell Litas.
