Saturday, February 14, 2015
The scorpion landed on another passenger's shoulder who then flicked it onto the woman, according to the Daily Mail.
Oregon State University's men's basketball team and the University of Portland's women's basketball team were also on the flight.
The flight was taxing on the runway and had not yet taken off when the woman was stung. The plane returned to the gate and the woman was checked by medics. She refused further treatment and did not get back on the plane.
The flight originated in Los Cabos, Mexico, but it is unclear how the scorpion got on the plane.
