Uber Hosting Portland Launch Party

Uber is hosting a launch party in Portland, to thank local supporters of the company. The ridesharing company launched in Portland last Friday amid controversy. The city has filed a legal injunction against the company on Monday for Uber operating illegally in Portland. 

In the online invitation, Uber said they are celebrating the support of riders and drivers that brought them to Portland. Uber requests people RSVP for the party featuring drinks and art.  

The event will be from 7 to 11 pm. on Tuesday, December 9th at Union/Pine
