Taco
Breed: Domestic Shorthair/ Mix
Gender: Male
Age: Adult
Hello. My name is Taco and I'm looking for a quiet home. Although I am a very sweet guy, I can get startled very easily and desire a relaxing environment. Once I am comfortable, I am a complete lovebug that has a purr to die for. Hope you find it is endearing, as most people do. The shelter is also giving me a dental to sweeten the deal. I am about 8 years old, neutered, and weigh 11.5 pounds. I am currently in foster care recovering from a kitty cold. Please email [email protected] to arrange a meeting with me!

Squirrely Joe
Breed: Coonhound, Treeing Walker/ Mix
Gender: Male
Age: Young
Squirrely Joe is a sweet and sensitive young hound dog around 1 year old. He is currently in foster care. If you are interested in him, call his foster mom, Angela, at 503-807-1516 to learn more about him. He's a little shy at first meeting strangers and quite impressionable at just one year old. He may be best suited with older respectful children, say 10 years and up. He is quite thin and could stand to gain a few pounds- He won't get too much bigger but should bulk up with a high quality diet and lots of love. He weighs just 42 pounds and has an athletic build and active nature. As with all hounds, Squirrely Joe will need lots of positive reinforcement training to overcome his strong urge to follow his nose and become a well adjusted and social fellow. He's been pretty quiet for his breed with us so far, but once he becomes comfortable in his new home he might just find his voice. He is fine with the dogs in his foster home and is house trained. He is working on leash training and crate training. If you're looking for a great running, camping and loving lifetime companion this is your boy.

Ghost
Breed: Alaskan Malamute/ Mix
Gender: Male
Age: Adult
Hey! Can you see me? I'm asking because my name is Ghost. I'm a neutered male Alaskan Malamute. I am 1-1/2 years old and weigh about 88lbs. I came in with my buddy Sam Lorek because we got bored easily in the back yard and a 4' fence was no match for us. My ideal home would be with experienced dog owners whose kids were at least 16 years old. I should not go to a home with small dogs, cats or caged pets. I am a drama queen and don't like to have my feet touched or be restrained, but that's something we can work on together with a trainer. The shelter strongly recommends that I not be left unattended in the yard because even 6' fence wouldn't be much of a challenge for me to scale.

Caroline
Breed: Terrier / Mix
Gender: Female
Age: Young
Hi there, my name is Caroline. I am a medium sized terrier mix about years old andI weigh about 31lbs. I've been pretty scared here at the shelter, but I am making progress in trusting people. Because of this, the shelter recommends that if there are kids in my new home they are at least 10 years old and understand that loud noises and sudden movements may scare me. I showed way too much interest in the rabbit in the hallway so no small animals in my new home for me. This may or may not translate to no cats. Please ask about me today. I am spayed.
