Tickets on Sale for Nicky USA’s “Wild About Game”

Presented by the NW’s acclaimed butcher and purveyer of quality, humanely processed game, Nicky USA, “Wild About Game” is a competition featuring some of the best chefs in the region.
A broad list of items are offered to guests as samples including artisan salts, cheese, chocolates, ice cream, spirits, wine, beer, and speciality meats from Nicky Farms.
While more than meat is served, though, the competition remains “meat-focused.” Guests judge the chefs based off of four different meat-based categories.
Shane Ryan from Seattle restaurant Matt’s in the Market won the title last year. So this year, everyone’s hoping that a Portland chef reclaims victory.
The Portland chefs who will attend the competition this year are Johanna Ware from Smallwares, Doug Adams from Imperial, Andrew Mace from Le Pigeon, and Carlo Lamagna from Clyde Common.
