slides: Craft Brewers Conference: 9 Extracurricular Events You Don’t Want to Miss

Tuesday, April 14, 2015

Portland is known for great beers and great brewers. There are also typically more beer events than even a consummate beer insider can keep track of any given week in Portland. Each week there are beer releases, fundraisers, fests, summits and much more. We are very luck to live here in Beervana. It’s about to get better here though, if just for a brief few days.

See Slides Below: 9 Craft Brewers Conference Events You Don't Want to Miss

Today the Craft Brewers Conference takes over the Oregon Convention Center, brewer and brewery pros en masse from around the country will see firsthand what the hype is all about. It’s great news whenever a conference of this size (nearly 10,000) comes to town. It is not often that the host city’s residents so directly reap the rewards as we will by the presence of this event. Why? Because local brewers and beer bars want to show off. And you are invited.

The events in the slides below represent but a small segment of the events that are scheduled for next week, but have been carefully picked. All but one are free to attend, but that doesn’t mean there is no cost. You are there to meet great people and try great beer. The latter will cost you – and it should. Oh and don’t blame us for great events happening simultaneously. We didn’t do the scheduling and are just grateful there are so many fun events. A little planning and you can spend time at each. I know I will.
