River City Bicycles Hosts Women’s MTB Skills Clinic

Brush up on your mountain biking skills (MTB) with Juli Furtado and River City Bike employees on Saturday March 7th. 

Juli Furtado is known as “queen of the dirt” and has won three World Cup races and as series of national championships. Furtado began bike racing after retiring from competitive skiing because of multiple knee injuries and operations.

In 1999 she launched the first women-specific mountain bike, the Juliana, with help from Santa Cruz Bicycles. Juliana is now the largest range of mountain bikes for women.   

Make sure to bring your bike and a helmet. If you don’t have a bike then you can test ride a store bike.
