For the second time this year, The Crystal Ballroom will host a fashion show that’s sure to blow your mind with creative designs straight from Portland.

The event is called Fade to Light: A Multidimensional Fashion Event and is brought to us by Elizabeth Mollo Productions.

The event inspires designers to really stretch themselves and bring viewers designs that will make the wearer feel confident, daring, and beautiful.

This month, the event will feature collections from Altar PDX, Bryce Black, Deatherage Designs, Rogue Minx, Sara Bergman Apparel, Stefanie Says, StudioSKB, and WWJJD.

This is an all-age event with a 21 and over afterparty in Lola’s Room.

Admission prices vary from $10 for students to $50 for premier tickets in the front row.

Not only is this a fun event to catch some of the newest fashions coming our way this fall, but it’s also a good way to support Children’s Healing Art Project (CHAP). CHAP is an organization that uses art to help children and their families who are going through a crisis. According to the Fade to Light Facebook page, “At CHAP, we believe that children should be known for their creativity ingenuity, rather than their disease, diagnosis or disability.”

The artists who teach at the program offer over sixty hours of artistic activities to critically or chronically ill and disabled children and teens. For every ticket purchased for the Fade to Light event, $1 is donated to CHAP.

To purchase tickets for the event, please click here.

Fade to Light: A Multidimensional Fashion Event at Crystal Ballroom, 1332 W Burnside St. Wednesday, August 26, 6:30pm - 11pm.
