Variety Show Holds Season Three Kickoff at Disjecta

Welcoming back guest host and performer, Dan Kennedy, the New Sh*t Show returns for a third season on Friday, September 11th, at Disjecta.

Dan Kennedy is known for hosting and performing on the podcast The Moth and also for his debut novel, American Spirit. Normally living in New York, Kennedy comes back west to host a unique night of entertainment.

During the season kickoff event, the New Sh*t Show will feature regular cast members including the Co-Creator of Hurricane Comedy, Bri Pruett, and Adam Shearer, runner-up for Portland’s 2015 Funniest Person contest.

A variety show, New Sh*t Show regularly features debut work by all of the performers. For each show, the audience experiences a one-of-a-kind, hilarious, and even weird evening.

The season 3 kickoff will be a 21 and over event held at the Disjecta Contemporary Art Center.

However, the rest of the season will occur on 2nd Mondays, October 12th - March 14th, at the Clinton Street Theater.
