Polaris Dance Theatre Presents the Third Annual Galaxy Dance Festival

The third annual Galaxy Dance Fest presented by Polaris Dance Theatre is back with over 20 dance companies and fitness studios participating. 

The three day community gathering will bring a wide array of dance genres to Director Park like aerial, ballroom, hip hop, belly dancing, contemporary, and jazz.   

Over 2,400 people attended the entertaining festival in 2013 which included free dance lessons and awesome performances by Polaris’ Ballet and Hip Hop summer intensive programs, as well as A-WOL Dance Collective

Robert Guitron, director of Polaris Dance Theatre founded the dance company in 2002. Polaris focuses on creating visually innovative, emotionally charging, and thought-provoking contemporary dance performances. Throughout the last ten years, Polaris has created 291 new works and has entertained over 11,000 audience members of all ages. Polaris also provides affordable dance classes (10 one hour dance classes can be as low as $135) believing that dance is for every age, body shape, and ability.
