Dolly Parton Hoot!: A Tribute To Country Music Icon at Alberta Rose Theater

Oregon musicians pay tribute to celebrated country music icon Dolly Parton at the 10th annual Dolly Parton Hoot Night

Featured performers include; honky tonk band The Earnest Lovers, alternative country band Thin Rail, and fiddle playing musician Kathryn Claire

Dolly Parton is one of the most respected country performers of all time. She has written 3,000 songs with her most known being “Jolene”, “9 to 5” and “Coat of Many Colors”. Parton has also starred in a number of films including Steel Magnolias, 9 to 5, and Joyful Noise.   

“I Will Always Love You,” written by Parton in 1973, continues to be a song that is covered by Jennifer Hudson, Linda Ronstadt, and Beyonce. Whitney Houston’s version of the song in 1992 brought it to a new audience and generation.  

Dolly Parton Hoot Night at the Alberta Rose Theatre, Saturday, June 6th, 7pm doors, 8pm show, $12 advance, $15 at door. Minors OK when accompanied by a parent or guardian. For more information click HERE
