Hockey
Portland Winterhawks v. Seattle Thunderbirds
Looking for a fight? Portland and Seattle have brawled 354 times since the their respective inductions into the Canadian Hockey League, according to http://www.hockeyfights.com.

Portland Marathon Weekend
Rated as "The Best People's Marathon in the West" by Runner's World, the Portland Marathon has tons of activities for all ages, whether you plan on running or just want to experience the weekend festivities.
When: Friday-Sunday, Oct. 3-5

Portland Boulder Rally
Considered to be the largest single day bouldering event in the nation, the Rose City welcomes back the 4th annual Portland Boulder Rally.
Watch the pros battle it out for a $10,000 grand prize while enjoying the outdoor beer garden, local food carts, an outdoor industry exhibition, and much more.
When: Oct. 4, event start time set for 8 a.m.

Portland Timbers @ San Jose Earthquakes
As the Timbers continue their MLS playoffs push, the Timbers will look to take advantage of a favorable strength of schedule, starting with the 'Quakes out of San Jose. Portland sits in the Western Conference's fifth and final playoff spot.

AJGA Junior Golf Invitational
This fall, check out the next slate of up-and-coming golfers as Nike brings together 72 of the nation's top junior golfers to Oregon.

USA Fencing North American Cup
The world's "oldest modern sport" is coming to Portland this October, and it is a great showcase of balance, coordination, and sportsmanship that you wouldn't see in the mainstream sports enivornment.

Roller Derby
Guns 'n Rollers vs. Cherry City All-Stars
Watch Portland's all-female roller derby team go toe-to-toe against the Cherry City All-Stars from Salem, Ore., in what is being announced as "the Capitol of Oregon Roller Derby v. the Capitol of Oregon!"

No. 2 University of Oregon @ No. 11 UCLA
The top two teams in the Pac-12 clash in a season-defining matchup that has College Football Playoff implications on the line.

Portland Timbers @ CD Olimpia (Honduras)
Come this October, the Portland Timbers will be playing for a spot in the CONCACAF Champions League Quarterfinals.
Rarely is it that an MLS team will have the opportunity like the one the Portland Timbers have.

This is the last regular season game for the Portland Timbers, and it could very well be a win-or-go-home type game for the Timbers as they only lead Vancouver Whitecaps FC by 2 points for that last playoff spot in the Western Conference.

The Ducks continue their tough Pac-12 schedule with a visit from the boys out of Palo Alto.
Oregon's offensive pace against Stanford's stout defense will make for a fun game.

Portland Trail Blazers v. Cleveland Cavaliers

University of Oregon v. Oregon State University
The Oregon rivalry continues in the form of women's soccer this fall, as both Pac-12 teams look to gain a leg up on each other in a quest for the conference regular season championship.

Seattle Seahawks @ San Francisco 49ers
There is no doubt as to whether if this will be the NFC West's biggest game of the year.
The reigning Super Bowl Champs will take on the second-best West Coast team in a rematch of last year's NFC Championship game.
