Spotted in Astoria, Oregon: Good Morning America’s Rob Marciano

Good Morning America (and former Portland) meteorologist Rob Marciano was spotted at the Astoria Regatta in Astoria, Oregon.

Marciano was spotted in the beer garden in Regatta Square in the center of the city and next to the Garden of Surging Waves.

“Rockin’ on the River” was the theme for this year's annual Regatta celebration, which started in 1894 and has been designated a Historic Cultural Tradition by the Oregon State Historic Commission.

Rob was with his buddies from his fantasy football league including his Astoria friends who own and operate Baked Alaska, a restaurant located on Astoria’s waterfront. It’s also likely that Marciano walked with his friends in the Grand Land Parade as well. Baked Alaska were just one of many local businesses that took part in the festivities.

Local chefs served barbecued salmon and burgers in Regatta Square and Fort George served brews to Marciano and his buddies at Regatta Square, the center point of activity on Saturday in downtown Astoria.

Locals might remember the incredibly handsome Rob Marciano from his days as a Portland weatherman at KATU before heading to CNN, that was followed by a stint as the host of "Entertainment Tonight," before he returned to his meteorlogical roots with ABC's GMA.
