Jewish Family & Child Service (JFCS) recently announced a new partnership with Cedar Sinai Park’s (CSP) family of social service organization.
Both JFCS and CSP are non-profit organizations that provide human services to the Portland Metro area including social services, counseling, and case management.
For example, CSP created the Kehillah House that cares for young adults with disabilities, and they also opened the Sinai In-Home care that provides assistance to those who want to remain independent.
The two organizations will keep their separate non-profit identities. However, their collaboration secures their ability to provide a greater range of services.
Through the partnership, CSP and JFCS are now able to reach more families and increase the impact that they have on children, adults, and senior citizens.
"We're pleased to see our collaboration become even closer through this consolidation. We will achieve more than efficiency. We will create new opportunities to serve the community and to creatively respond to emerging needs," said Lance Steinberg, chairman of the CSP board of directors.
