The International Cannabis Business Conference (ICBC) will be held at Portland’s Convention Center on September 13 and 14, helping to facilitate a network of entrepreneurs, legal experts, and industry professionals.

Come this November, Oregon is projected to become the third state to legalize recreational marijuana use. As enthusiasm regarding the industry’s profitable potential continues to grow, Portland and the ICBC are invested in helping connect individuals from all facets of the industry.

The ICBC will offer professional insight and advice on everything from operating a dispensary to the laws governing the new industry.

Alex Rogers, ICBC co-founder and CEO of Northwest Alternative Health, has seen the interest in this networking opportunity firsthand.

“After selling out smaller conferences earlier this year I recognized the need to build a network of advocates and experts that could learn from each other,” said Rogers.

“This is a new industry with vast business potential. The experts we’re bringing together will help us capitalize on the opportunities.”

To see the full lineup of speakers and biographies, visit the ICBC’s speaker page here.

The Oregon Convention Center is located at 777 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. in Portland and the cost of the conference is $499.
