Trail Blazers Confirm Allen Crabbe’s Spot on Roster

Allen Crabbe just received verification that his contract is guaranteed for the upcoming 2015-16 NBA season.

Crabbe is expected to make more than $900,000 next season in his third official year with the Blazers.

The Blazers were able to utilize Crabbe when Nicolas Batum was battling multiple injuries and wasn’t able to display his full potential.

It was this year in the NBA Summer League that Crabbe first stood out for the Trail Blazers. Crabbe came out of the Blazers four game Summer League run averaging 15.5 points a game while shooting 53.2 percent from the field.

Vegas was Crabbe’s opportunity to shine and he took full advantage of the opportunity. He displayed his abilities as an athletic player who had the ability to shoot in traffic and get to the rim.

Crabbe went down with a brutal ankle sprain during Summer League play and is expected to be out for six weeks. Despite this setback, he is predicted to be ready for Trail Blazers training camp.
