West Region
2 Arizona vs 10 Ohio State, Saturday
Arizona comes in as a two seed and is one of the best teams in the country and a lot of peoples picks to make a deep run in the NCAA tournament. The Wildcats are coming off a 93-72 win in the he first round of the NCAA tournament over Texas Southern.
Arizona is led by Stanley Johnson who averages 14 points and just under seven rebounds per game for the Wildcats.
Ten seeded Ohio State upset seven seeded VCU 75-72 in round one. Ohio State is led by D'Angelo Russell who came into the NCAA Tournament averaging 19 points, six rebounds and five assists per game for the Buckeyes. Russell had 28 points against VCU.
South Region
4 Georgetown vs 5 Utah, Saturday
Delon Wright leads the Utes with 15 points, five rebounds and five assists per game and has registered double-figures in eight straight games after putting up 11 points against SF Austin.
The Georgetown Hoyas are coming off a 84-74 win over Eastern Washington in the first round.
Georgetown is led by junior guard D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera who averages 16 points and four rebounds per game. Smith-Rivera poured in 25 points against Eastern Washington in the first round win.
Delon Wright vs. D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera will be a fascinating matchup to watch, making this game very intriguing.
