John McCain, current Arizona Senator, former Republican presidential nominee and political pundit, is arriving in Portland today. 

McCain is visiting PDX this week to help raise cash for fellow G.O.P. party member Monica Wehby.

Wehby is facing current U.S. senator, Democrat Jeff Merkley, in this year’s senate election.

McCain can be spotted again this Thursday at a $1,000 ticket fundraiser reception McCain will appear at the home of hotelier Gordon Sondland and his wife, Katy Durant, where guests will have a "photo opp" with the former Presidential candidate for $2,600.
