Operation Code Seeks to Expand New GI Bill

Through the efforts of Operation Code, Veterans interested in 21st century software development now have the opportunity to pursue their dreams.

At a launch party on Thursday,
Operation Code, a veteran-founded and led non-profit, will host a crowdfunding campaign to expand the New GI Bill and offer veterans the necessary financial support needed to attend code school.
At present, the New GI Bill does not cover code school tuition or room and board for veterans who served after 9/11.
Through the efforts of Operation Code, Veterans interested in 21st century software development now have the opportunity to pursue their dreams.
Through the campaign, Operation Code hopes to raise 7.5 million, which would in turn be sent to veterans and their families to cover educational and living expenses. Additionally, the funds will go toward the efforts to promote national expansion of the project.
The launch party will take place at Epicodus, 421 SW Oak St. Thursday, April 16th, 6:30-8pm.
