Two men were arrested by Portland police for sex trafficking a 16-year-old girl in Portland.

22-year-old Tre Quane Jenkins and 20-year-old Antonio Jaray Moore were arrested and booked into the Multnomah County Jail on a charge of Compelling Prostitution

The girl was reunited with her family.

The Investigation

This investigation started several weeks ago and during the course of the investigation, officers located the victim at a residence in the 8500 block of Southeast Steele Street.

On Thursday, investigators arrived at the residence and made contact with the victim and safely removed her from the home.

Three other subjects, including Jenkins and Moore, remained inside and refused to come out to officers. After approximately 10 minutes, the subjects came out and were taken into custody without incident.

Jenkins and Moore were eventually booked on criminal charges while the third subject was released from the scene. A firearm was seized by police during the investigation.

This investigation is ongoing and officers would like to hear from anyone with information about this case.
