Ted Ferrioli Releases Statement on Passing of Former Oregon Senate President Brady Adams

Senate Republican Leader Ted Ferrioli released the following statement regarding the passing of former Senate President, Brady Adams, on Monday:

"It was a great joy and honor to serve with Senate President Brady Adams," said Senator Ferrioli. "He was my role model for patient, wise, accommodating leadership during my first years in the Senate. He was principled, fair and unswervingly loyal to his family, his community and to the Oregon way of governance."

Adams died at age 70 in Grants Pass on Monday after a long battle with Parkinson's disease. In addition to serving eight years in the Oregon legislature, Adams was also known for his community involvement and his work as the president of Evergreen Federal Bank.

"Brady Adams' legacy of transparency, fiscal conservatism and personal accountability make him an Oregon leader for the ages," continued Ferrioli. "Everyone who knew him misses him, but his legacy lives on."
