Officers and firefighters arrived and learned that someone used a fire extinguisher to put out the fire in the car, which had numerous bullet strikes visible. Witnesses reported hearing several gunshots then seeing a dark-colored SUV leaving the area, possibly related to the shooting.

Shortly after this incident, callers in the area of Southeast 154th Avenue and Alder Street reported hearing gunfire. Officers arrived in the neighborhood and located evidence of gunfire but did not locate any victims or property damage.

A few minutes later, callers in the area of Southeast 148th Avenue and Clinton Street reported hearing gunfire. Officers arrived in the neighborhood and located evidence of gunfire but did not locate any victims or property damage.

A few hours later, officers responded to the area of Southeast 141st Avenue and Division Street on the report that a neighbor heard gunfire at approximately 4:00 a.m. and he awoke to find evidence of gunfire in the street. No victims or property damage were discovered at this location.

At 6:25 a.m., officers responded to the area of 115th Avenue and Powell Court on the report that someone shot at a victim as he got out of his car. Officers arrived in the area and spoke with the victim who told police that an unknown subject or subjects in a gold or silver car shot at him for unknown reasons.
