Police Arrest Third Man in Downtown Murder

Portland police arrested a third man on Tuesday in the stabbing death of a 43-year-old man in downtown Portland.

Andrew William Metzner, 20, was charged with murder, police said Wednesday.

Portland police arrested Wesley Lawrence Curtis, 18 and Adam Lawrence Elder, 23, last week in connection with the murder of Marc Sundin.

Sudin died of a stab wound to the chest. Officers found him dead on the corner of Southwest Fourth Avenue and Madison Streets on Thursday, according to police.

Curtis was charged with murder and booked into the Multnomah County Jail. Elder was charged with conspiracy to commit assault, assault and failure to register as a sex offender, police said.
