Thursday, December 10, 2015
Officers found a brand antlered bull elk shot and left to waste just west of Foothill Road in the Ladd Marsh Wildlife Area. The elk was shot on November 10, during general Rocky Mountain elk season. There was no season for branch antlered bull elk.
A reward is being offered to anyone who has any information about the elk or who shot the animal. Tips can be reported via the Oregon Hunters Association through the Turn-in-Poachers program. To contact authorities, call 1 (800) 452-7888
