via the Oregon Lottery's Facebook page.

The Oregon Lottery won the top honors from the North American Association of State and Provincial Lotteries this weekend at the 2015 NASPL convention held in Dallas Texas.

Oregon won two awards for its responsible gambling campaigns and a third award for Corporate/Beneficiary TV Advertising.

"I am very proud of our marketing team's work in preparing these award-winning advertisements that tell Oregonians about the good things their lottery dollars do for the state," said Oregon Lottery Director Jack Roberts. "The ads also inform people with gambling problems how to access the help they need and which the lottery also funds. It is great that their excellent work has been acknowledged by our lottery peers across the country and in Canada."

The responsible gambling TV ad entitled “Bowling Night” won the award for best Responsible Gambling Video Communications. The ad depicts a group of friends encouraging another friend to get treatment for his gambling addiction. View the award winning ad below:

The “Coming Home” ad, which recognized the Lottery’s 30th anniversary, took home the TV Advertising award.

Since the Oregon Lottery began selling tickets on April 25, 1985, it has earned nearly $10 billion for economic development, public education, state parks and watershed enhancements.
