The Port of Portland signed 10-year leases on Wendesday for 11 new shops and restaurants coming to Portland International Airport. The shops are scheduled to arrive in early 2015.

The new concessions include Café Yumm, Henry's Tavern, Subway Sandwiches, and others.

The leases for the new shops are the first phase of a new remodleling expected to be complete by 2017. By this time nearly 75 percent of existing leases will have expired.

“We welcome these exciting new shops and restaurants to our airport family,” said Chris Czarnecki, general manager of the Port of Portland. “We searched far and wide to bring these great options to our travelers, speaking to some 250 individuals interested in operating at PDX.”

The 60 current shops and restaurants at the airport offer the same prices as they do at their off-airport locations. The new shops will do the same.
