FBI Seeks Man in Connection with Child Sexual Assault Victim

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is seeking the public's assistance with obtaining information that would identify an unknown male who may have critical information pertaining to the identity of a child victim in an ongoing sexual exploitation investigation. 

Photographs and an informational poster depicting the unknown individual, known only as John Doe 29, are being disseminated to the public an can be found on the FBI website. 

Initial images of the unidentified adult male, shown with a child were first recorded by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in January of 2008. Investigators for the FBI and the National Center for Missing and exploited children have successfully enhanced images depicting John Doe 29. 

There are no specific details linking the man to a particular state or region of the United States, and both his identity and whereabouts are currently unknown. 

John Doe 29 is described as a male with a tan complexion, likely between the ages of 30 and 45 with dark hair. Anyone with information should submit a tip by clicking here.

Additional images relevant to the investigation include those depicting the individual wearing a silver ring on his left ring finger, the victim wearing blue and white Velcro Nike brand tennis shoes, and the background where the images were taken. Additionally, the individual is seen wearing a white, black, and red shirt with what appears to be a design and/or writing on the sleeves. 

The individual is being sought as part of the FBI's Operation Rescue Me and Endangered Child Alert Program initiatives.
