Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream Renames Flavor in Oregon

Jerry Greenfield, co-founder of Ben & Jerry's is coming to Oregon to announce the renamed flavor on Thursday afternoon. Bussiness wire says Greenfield hopes to urge Oregonians to pass measure 92 which would make GMO labeling mandatory in Oregon.
On Thursday, Greenfield and company will scoop free ice cream for guests. The renamed flavor will be highlighted at Ben & Jerry's until Nov. 4, Oregon's election day.
In addition to supporting mandatory GMO labeling and Measure 92, Ben & Jerry's is in the final phase of transitioning to non-GMO ingredients, according to Business Wire.
