GoGreen Conference Hopes To Educate People About Sustainability

GoGreen Portland conference to take place in Portland this fall aims to explore the creation of more environmentally friendly businesses and communities. 

Topics of discussion include social equity advocacy, the development of new economic models, competitive city strategies, behavioral change, new innovations and corporate responsibility.

The mission of the event is to empower attendees with the strategies, tools, and connections to help improve the environmental sustainability of their organizations with profitability in mind.

The keynote speakers include: 

Mayor Charlie Hales

Dr. Renee Lertzman, Author of The Myth of Apathy

Adam Wernback, Founder of Yerdle

The conference is on Thursday, October 16 in the Oregon Ballroom at the Oregon Convention Center from 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. A hosted networking reception starts at 5 p.m.
