Stumptown Events will be hosting a city wide Zombie bar hop, Zombie Con 2015, on Saturday, October 17 to benefit the Oregon Music Hall of Fame, a non-profit dedicated to providing scholarship opportunities to talented local musicians.
Bring a friend, dress up in your best Zombie, Zombie Hunter, or even a Monster themed costume, and hit Portland’s local bars, also known as the Graveyard. The event kick-off begins in Dixie Tavern at 4 p.m.
Individuals are welcome to come to Dixie beginning at 1:30 p.m. for free make-up tutorials presented by local make-up artists. Appointments for the tutorials are recommended.
The event will conclude with prizes following the costume contest. Winners are chosen based off of their participation and interactive experience, as well as their costume originality. Sharing photos of costumes on the Facebook event wall page is recommended for the contest. Bonus points for group costumes.
