The fifth edition of Rumble on the River on Saturday night was bigger, bolder and is expected to raise more money than ever before for beneficiaries such as the American Cancer Society, The Children’s Cancer Association and The International Mesothelioma Program. 

The party was held on the banks of the Willamette River at the spacious Lake Oswego estate of local marketing mogul Doug Fish and his wife, fashion designer Michelle DeCourcy, who just so happens to be a cancer survivor, as well..  

For the Rumble, Michelle showed off her other, more musically inclined talents as the lead singer of The Rock Tarts. Michelle - who sounds not unlike Martha Davis of The Motels - and her band played the second set during the all-women-led evening’s musical lineup that included Sarah Gwen and singer, songwriter and author Storm Large. 

Storm’s set was hot as ever - in fact it was so hot Large even auctioned off a one-of-a-kind Michelle DeCourcy mermaid-green dress right off her back. 

Party guests who dined on three different buffets from Laughing Planet and quaffed an assortment of wine and cocktails included Ann Reis, Patrick Newsom, Ryan Blair, Kelli Watson and Michael Brown. Matt Zaffino emceed the event.
