Spotted in Portland: Joey Fatone, Bobby Brown, Brett Dalton, Stephen Amell & Other Stars

Wizard World's Portland Comic Con attracted a slew of sci-fi-friendly stars and other celebrities to Portland over the weekend. At the same time several stars made their way to PDX to appear with Damian Lillard in a commercial for his new Adidas shoe line.

N'Sync boy band member, actor and reality television host Joey Fatone was spotted in Portland, but not at the Oregon Convention Center. Fatone and notorious singer/songwriter/rapper Bobby Brown were both seen in town this weekend. Seems both Fatone and Brown were in PDX to, word has it, shoot a television commercial for Damian Lillard's new Shockware shoe and apparel line for Adidas.

Speaking of Blazers, sci-fi freak/comic book geek Robin Lopez was spotted all over the Wizard World convention (after cutting the ribbon at the opening ceremony) taking pics with celebs like 80's teen queen Debbie Gibson and television's "Hulk" Lou Ferrigno. Lopez loves science fiction (and anything Disney too).

When the stars—like "Agents of Shield" Brett Dalton or Michael Rooker from "Walking Dead"—weren't at Wizard World you could find them at Portland hotspots like Bluehour. That's where Giancarlo Esposito from "Breaking Bad" was seen with some of the bigwigs behind Wizard World.

The "Arrow" himself Stephen Amell was spotted on Sunday at both at Rogue Ales in Northwest Portland and Veritable Quandary where on Sunday night he appeared at a wine dinner featuring his own Nocking Point Wines.

Portland's own sci-fi queen Katee Sackhoff was once again in town with her man, Karl Urban (this is the third time in less than a year this new duo has made it back to Portland). After meeting their fans at the convention center, Katee and Karl high-tailed it over to the Moda Center to catch a Blazer game.

Seems Robin Lopez (#rolo) has made it his mission that every star of the sci-fi small and big screen makes at least one appearance near the Blazer's center court.

Parker Posey

Spotted in Portland: September 17, 2014

Posey, the star of such classic comedy films as Party Girl, Best In Show, A Mighty Wind and Waiting for Guffman, made a quick trip to Portland to shoot an episode of Portlandia. Word is that Posey was in town for a very brief time, but still had a chance to see a few of the sights.

Spotted in Portland: September 17, 2014

Brigitte Nielsen, the star of Red Sonja, Rocky IV, Beverly Hills Cop II and the reality show Flavor of Love, was spotted shopping with her doggies in tow in downtown Portland.

Why, she even popped into Morrison Nail Studio on Southwest Morrison Street to get her nails done! No word on why the mighty Brigitte and her pups might be in town...yet.

Paul Reubens was spotted outside a downtown Portland hotel early Sunday afternoon. Reubens, best known for his iconic role on television and in film as Pee-Wee Herman, was said to be in town over the weekend for a guest-starring role on the hit IFC show, Portlandia.

It could not have been a better sighting on Pride day. Out actress Jane Lynch (in town for an engagement in support of Third Rail Rep) and singer/songwriter k.d. lang (newly transplanted Portlander) were spotted having lunch on Sunday morn at Irving St. Kitchen deep in the heart of the Pearl District.
