In fact she even tweeted her return.
The last time the star of the blockbuster movie "Charlie's Angels" and television's "Elementary" was seen in Portland was in late August. That's when she snapped a photo of herself with filmmaker Eli Roth on the flight to PDX.
Back in August GoLocalPDX found out Liu wasn't here for a film or television project but rather to spend some vacation time with friends and family.
On August 28th Liu was spotted shopping downtown at several different shops including Alder & Co. and Canoe where someone overheard her saying it was the perfect place to pick up gifts for the holidays.
Looks she arrived just in time to pick up those gifts.
