An experiment gone wrong in a Portland physics teacher’s class left another teacher in a painful situation when a mis-swing of an axe smashed into his genitals.

According to student Haneef Mubarak on Reddit, the teacher is the man holding the cinder block on his chest on top of a bed of nails. 

The experiment was supposedly meant to show that the nails would not pierce the teacher “because the force was evenly distributed.”
