Thursday, January 14, 2016

Are dreams of sea breezes and time on the water keeping you warm during this cold winter? Then check out the Portland Boat Show, coming to the Portland Expo Center this week.

The 56th Annual Portland Boat Show runs until January 17 at the Portland Expo Center, located at 2060 N Marine Dr. The Expo Center is reachable via car or by the TriMet MAX light rail Yellow Line.

This year’s boat show will feature plenty of new lines, brands and styles for all. Each year, boaters from all over the Northwest come to see what’s new in boat lines, technology and accessories, and this year’s edition promises not to disappoint.

Hundreds of boats will be moved into the Portland Expo Center, including sailboats, sport boats, wakeboard boats, pleasure craft, fishing boats, off-shore vessels, and personal watercraft. There will also be local and national manufacturers, plenty of associations and dozens of dealers in attendance. – along with local boating retailers, accessory suppliers and experts

Previously owned boats will be available, as will tour of luxury yachts and sailing vessels. JR. Boat Building will also be on hand to help kids build their very own boat.

For more information, or to get your tickets, visit the Portland Boat Show website.
