To celebrate the fact that May is “Older Americans Month” the Vancouver Parks and Recreation Department's offered up a lively evening of dining and dancing this year's "Senior Prom" at the Luepke Senior Center on May 15.

This year, 50 and Better Program presented "A Night in the Orient," that included live music with Charles Suniga and The Angels, dinner served by celebrity waiters, and a special toast by Vancouver Mayor Timothy D. Leavitt. It was a festive affair for all those attended.

The Luepke Senior Center is located behind the Marshall Community Center at 1009 E. McLoughlin Blvd. in Vancouver, Washington.
