Dog and Cat

Salty's Dog and Cat Shop

This Valentine's Day, Salty’s Dog and Cat Shop will celebrate its ten year anniversary.

Ten years ago the owner of the store, Nancy Fedelem, transformed the pet store from a failing business endeavor to a thriving business that offers quality pet food and customized services based off of the individual needs of pets and their owners.

After transforming the store, Nancy was also able to expand both the store and the amount of products she offers for local pets in 2014.

In addition to managing her own business, Nancy holds events and offers space in her stores for community events.

Last year the store held a Pet Friendly Photos with Santa Claus event, raising more than $500 dollars to donate to Multnomah County Animal Services Dolly’s Fund.

Nancy supports other local rescue organizations such as Multnomah County Animal Services, The Pixie Project, Panda Paws Rescue, Lighthouse Farm Sanctuary, Underdog Railroad Rescue, PAWS Team, Fences for Fido, Strut Your Mutt, Family Dogs New Life Shelter, and Newberg Animal Shelter.

To celebrate Salty’s Dog and Cat Shop and its work with these rescue organizations, come to the shop on Saturday, Feb. 14, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Salty’s Dog & Cat Shop is located at 4039 N. Mississippi Ave., Portland, Oregon 97227.
