Bindi is a real cutie who is 8 years old and 17lbs. She is looking for her permanent home where she can feel safe and secure. Somehow she lost touch with her previous owner, and now she just wants to settle down. Because she hates to be left alone and always wants to know where her person is, a retired couple or work-from-home owners with a secure yard would be great for her. Her new home will need to work on her separation anxiety or be willing to manage the situation with care.

She doesn't much like other dogs when she sees them outside so dog parks are not a good idea, but she loves walking around the neighborhood on leash. She gets along with other dogs and cats in the home, as long as she has time to get to know them. She will usually go to the door when she needs to potty but sometimes needs a reminder. She is sweet and well-behaved in the house and has recently started learning some basic obedience skills.

Hello there! My name is Beulah. I am a true beagle, through and through. That is, I love to follow my nose! Although I am an older gal, I am still as curious as I was in my younger years, following my nose around and searching out all the best smells that life has to offer. Due to this, it is best that I bet an on-leash pup, just so I don't get swept away by a beautiful scent! As I am older, I have some arthritis and walk with a limp due to an old injuy. Although it doesn't slow me down, I will be having surgery to make sure I am all fixed up and ready to go! My ideal home would be quiet and peaceful, and not have children under 6. I am 10 years old and weigh 27 pounds.

The name is Dougie! I am a terrier mix who is 2 years old and weighs 14 pounds. I am a small package, but boy do I have a big personality. Unlike many of my little dog friends, I do not like to be held. I would much rather be on the leash exploring all the world has to offer. I am also an amazing hiking sidekick. Want to tackle a mountain together? You got it! I am always ready for a good bit of exercise. I will need a family who is going to be able to keep up with me and give me all the physical stimulation I need. I could still use some work on commands, and seem very eager to learn (with the right treats, of course!). Run on down to the shelter if you want to meet me! I am neutered!

The name is Zip. Bet you are wondering why that is? See, when I get excited, I zip around the yard as fast as I can, mouth open and skin flapping in the wind as I run around as happy as can be! When you see it, you'll have an even bigger smile on your own face seeing me enjoying myself. When it is time to calm down, I do that pretty well too. I can sometimes be shy around new people, but if you are soft and patient, I warm up really quickly and become your new best friend! I know how to sit and lay down, and am very food motivated if you want to try and teach me some new tricks. I would do best in a home with no small kids under 6, but some older kids might be great! I am 4 years old and weigh 60 pounds.

Our chunky monkey should do fine with kids, other friendly cats, and maybe even a mellow dog? He definitely needs to incorporate some portion control and aerobic exercise into his daily regimen.
